SOLID WASTE
Solid waste can have properties that make it potentially harmful to human health and the environment. Central District Health provides review and approval of proposed solid waste facilities and conducts inspections of solid waste facilities.

Household Hazardous Waste
Many products used for cleaning, home improvements, automobile maintenance, and lawn and garden care contain ingredients that can harm human health and the environment. Properly disposing of these hazardous products will keep our community safe and clean.
Do not throw hazardous waste in with your trash, recycling or compost. See the FAQs for a list of household hazardous waste products that should be taken to collection facilities for disposal and a list of disposal sites in our region.
