The Region 4 Behavioral Health Board (R4BHB) is a governmental entity established by the Idaho legislature in 2014 to advise Idaho’s behavioral health authority, identify gaps, and promote improvements to the delivery of integrated services for behavioral health in Idaho.

The Board promotes and supports prevention, intervention, recovery and resiliency for individuals and families in need. It is composed of 23 stakeholders, advocates, and professionals across the continuum of care representing constituents in Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley Counties.

The business of the Region 4 Behavioral Health Board is primarily conducted through monthly meetings and the work of their committees.

Accepting Applications

The Region 4 Behavioral Health Board is now accepting applications. We are looking for enthusiastic, engaged community members with a desire to help create local change and improve behavioral health in Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley Counties. Applicants must have experience in order to apply and represent these critical demographics on the Board.

  • Substance Use Disorder Advocate
  • Substance Use Disorder Provider
  • Adult Corrections
  • Law Enforcement
  • County Commissioner
