Central District Health Announces Holiday Closings

The Boise office of the Central District Health Department (CDHD) will be closed Christmas Day Thursday December 25th and New Year’s Day Thursday January 1st, 2009. The office will be open the day after Christmas, December 26th and the day after New Year’s, January 2nd, but not all services will be available as noted below.

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program will be closed on Friday December 26th, but will be open for business Friday January 2nd. Call WIC at 327-7488.

The Immunizations program will be closing early Wednesday December 24th please call for an appointment. Immunizations will be closed the day after Christmas, but open for regular business hours Friday January 2nd. Call Immunizations at 327-7450.

The Reproductive Health program will have clinic hours until noon Christmas Eve and staff will be available by phone the rest of the day. Reproductive Health will have normal business hours New Year’s Eve and January 2nd. Call Reproductive Health at 327-7400.

The Environmental Health area will have normal business hours except for the holidays. Call Environmental Health at 327-7499.

The Meals On Wheels program will not deliver meals on Christmas Day, December 26th, New Year’s Day and January 2nd. Meals On Wheels clients will have the option of receiving frozen meals for those days. Call Meals On Wheels at 327-7460.

Mountain Home Office

The Central District Health Department Mountain Home office will be closed Christmas Day December 25th, and Friday December 26th. Regular business hours will resume on Monday December 29th at 8:00 a.m.

The office will also be closed New Year’s Day January 1, 2009. The office will be open on Friday January 2, 2009 for regular business hours. For more information call 587-4407.

McCall Office

The Central District Health Department (CDHD) McCall office will be closed Christmas Day and Friday December 26th. Regular business hours will resume on Monday December 29th at 8:00 a.m.
