BEHAVIORAL HEALTH BOARD SEAT VACANCIES

The Region 4 Behavioral Health Board has several seats expiring on June 30, 2018 and is seeking to fill the following seats:

  • Family Member of an Adult Mental Health Services Consumer
  • Mental Health Advocate
  • Dept. of Health & Welfare representing the behavioral health system
  • Licensed Health Physician or Practitioner
  • Substance Use Disorder Provider
  • Law Enforcement
  • Prevention Specialist

The Region IV Behavioral Health Board is a governmental entity established by the Idaho legislature in 2014 to advise Idaho’s behavioral health authority, identify gaps, and promote improvements to the delivery of integrated services for behavioral health in Idaho.

The Board promotes and supports prevention, intervention, recovery and resiliency for individuals and families in need. It is composed of 22 stakeholders, advocates, and professionals across the continuum of care representing constituents in Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley Counties.

The business of the R4 BHB is primarily conducted through monthly meetings and the work of their committees.
